How To Unlock Twitch Drops

The following steps are a run down on unlocking your freshly acquired Deathbound skins!

Step 1

Connect your Twitch account to Deathbound (Steam version only). Open up Deathbound, head over to ‘Options’ then ‘Game’, and scroll down to the bottom till you see ‘Redeem Twitch Drops’

Step 2

You will be forwarded to Twitch’s activation page which may require logging into your Twitch account.
Twitch will then forward you to an authorization page asking you to confirm your connection between Twitch and Deathbound.

After the connection has been made, return to Deathbound and allow some moments to pass for the game to retrieve your drops.

Step 3

Deathbound will notify you with a message informing you that your drops have been successfully received…but how do you use them in-game?

How To Use Your Drops In-Game

Your drops will appear as consumables in your inventory. Simply use the respective skin and it will apply to the relevant character. If you wish to switch back to the original character design, simply use the skin once again. These items do not disappear upon use.

A. You can track your progress on the Twitch Drops Inventory page.

Q. How long does it take for the item to show in my game?

A. It can take up to 10 minutes. If the game was running when the Twitch drop was completed, you may need to close and restart the game.

Q. I don’t own Deathbound, can I still earn drops to unlock later down the line when I do buy Deathbound?

A. Yes! You can earn drops for games you do not currently own. If you purchase Deathbound via Steam at a later date and unlocked the drops, you will be able to access these drops.
